Cooling Down Part 2

Well I promised more drinks and my experimentation is over... so here you go :) Sorry it took me so long to finally post this! However, I won't bore you with any stories of how these came or anything. Just know they're all super easy and all super yummy... could it be any better?

Blueberry Coconut Lemonade

8                         Lemons
1          Pint         Blueberries
1          Liter        Coconut Water
1/3       Cup         Honey

Juice lemons

*I should've poured the blueberries over these huh?
Still learning the photo ideas... sadly thought of it after all my
lemons were juiced and all blueberries were already blended... oops!*

Blend lemon juice with your blueberries and honey.

Strain mixture and mix with coconut water.

Kiwi Lime Fizz

1          Whole     Kiwi Fruit (peeled and diced, divided)
4                         Mint Leaves (divided)
1/2       Tbl          Sugar (divided)
1 1/2    Tbl          Lime Juice
2          Cans       Lime Flavored Sparkling Water

In small bowl combine all ingredients other than the sparkling water and muddle together with a wooden spoon or utensil of choice until fully combined.

*I chose to use turbinado sugar this time*

Divide mixture evenly between two glasses. Add ice and pour the sparkling water over the top. Stir and serve.

Pineapple Water

1          Can         Pineapple (20 oz)
5          Cups       Water
1          tsp           Vanilla
2          Tbl          Agave

Put the pineapple, with it's juice, agave, vanilla, and 1 cup water in a blender and blend until smooth.

*sorry for the missing photo - didn't get anything that looked right*

Strain mixture, pressing on the solids to extract all the liquid, and mix in the rest of the water.

*You can also do this with a whole fresh pineapple - I wrote the measurements with a can, but have done it both ways.

None of these are super sweet but the natural sweetness really comes out. You can add more sweetener as desired - and if you have a preference (sugar, honey, agave) you can change them however you like. I get in moods where I don't want things to be too similar or I want to see the difference in taste. So that's why each of these has a different sweetener.

Sweet, tart, and fruity - each of these is a refreshing and delicious addition to the day.

and an extra... just because I love it :)

Butterscotch Delight
1          Shot          Buttershots
1          Shot          Amaretto
4          Shots        Almond Milk

Serve over ice and enjoy!

*it isn't anything fancy, but oh is it good!*

You can change your proportions to make it as strong or as sweet as you'd like :)
