Jello Shot Fun

So for the longest time I've been admiring all the amazing jello shots online - they get so creative, so pretty, and look soooooo good!! And I finally broke and decided it was time to try making some of my own :) They're not gorgeous or amazing - simply my first attempt... some day I will try them again. See if I can make the fancy ones... but these were still good. A few surprisingly strong. However, I must admit I got a little over zealous this time around. Made way too many... But they were still pretty good :) So here were my fun jello shot creations... In the order I made them... Morning Yummies

I love breakfast food - but I rarely take the time to eat it. I've been working on getting better at that during the week. And today, I took the time to put something together. I thought they were pretty filling - I could only eat one. But the good news is they reheat well - so they're also good to make over the weekend and have a grab-and-go breakfast during the week. The only difference is the yolk is more likely to be fully cooked or at least mostly cooked when you reheat it. I also tried two drinks - one I prepped the day before, but both super simple and yummy! I woke up early today and had been thinking of options for breakfast. I wanted something different, but not something that was too much work as I had a lot to do already. I came up with a few yummy thoughts, but unfortunately, as I thought of each and got up to look for the ingredients I wanted, I was disappointed to find out that I was missing at least one thing. So I kept thinking... and it hit me - breakfast ...

Quick Craving Fix

Grasshopper pie in a glass... Mmmmm Mmmmmmmm Good! I have been craving grasshopper pie for weeks. I couldn't tell you why, but it just sounded really good. But I couldn't make a whole pie - I'd be the only one eating it. So I decided to make it into a drink. One glass to take care of my craving. So I grabbed the ice cream, creme de menthe, and creme de cacao along with my little blender. Had I not been taking pictures I would've had it in the glass I blended it in... since I was - well I tried to make it look a little nicer :) Since my ice cream scoop was recently broken and has yet to be replaced, I scooped it out with a spoon. As a result, I understand that the measurements may be slightly off. I'd say two scoops with my spoon were probably close to one big scoop with an ice cream scoop. I took 7 scoops of french vanilla ice cream and added one shot of each in my blender cup and let it blend until smooth. Poured it into a martini g...
